Perhaps one of the most important roles of the Essex County Table Tennis Association is to support junior players in the county.
Martyn Green is the Essex Junior Affairs Secretary and he leads a team of coaches and administrators to achieve two main aims:
a) to facilitate and grow junior table tennis participation in Essex
b) to support the county’s best juniors represent Essex
Martyn meets these ambitions by supporting the coaches working with Essex juniors, working closely with leagues developing their juniors and cadets, and by centralising the mechanisms that produce the Essex ranking system which is separate from but relatred to the National ranking system.
