THE NEW SEASON

There will be thirty teams competing in the 2025/26 season of the Clacton and District League, two fewer than last season.

Brotherhood have entered one additional team but the Holland, Nomads and Walton Clubs have each lost one team.   

Once again, the League will operate with three Divisions.

Division One (10 teams) : Brotherhood A, B and C; Nomads Panthers and Lions; Walton A and B; Windsor Buzzards, Eagles and Hawks.

Division Two (10 teams) : Brotherhood D, F, G and J; Lawford; Nomads Jaguars and Tigers ; Windsor Harriers, Kestrels and Penguins.

Division Three (10 teams) : Brotherhood E and H; Holland Hurricanes, Lancasters and Vulcans; Nomads Leopards and Ocelots; Windsor Magpies and Falcons; Walton D.  

The League season starts on Monday 6th October and ends on Friday 17th April 2026. Details of the fixtures will be published on the League’s website in due course, hopefully by the end of August or shortly afterwards. The League Handbook will be available before the start of the season.

The Handicapped Singles Tournament is scheduled for Saturday  7th February 2026 at Windsor’s St James’ Hall venue, with the Closed Championships taking place on 11th and 12th April 2026 at the Coastal Academy Sports Hall.

The League will also run an additional Tournament this season, the Drawn Doubles. This will be on Saturday 22nd November 2025 at St James’ Hall. Further details be will circulated later.

The 2026 Cup Final will take place on Tuesday 21st April and the  Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 3rd June 2026, both at the Brotherhood Hall.
