It is the view of the Essex Committee that only players attending the Essex Junior Assessment Trials should be considered for selection to the County’s Cadet and Junior Representative Teams.  This enables the County to  determine the current standard of play when the teams are selected.  Notwithstanding this objective, it has always been part of the Essex County remit, to send out the strongest possible Cadet and Junior Representative Teams to compete in the National County Championships.  For this reason the final decision on selection will rest with Junior Match Secretary and his Junior Sub Committee.

We are aware that the 2015/16  Junior Assessment Trials fall on the schools half term weekend.  Therefore should any of your players be unlikely to attend these trials, please let Junior Match Secretary, Arthur Clarke, know.
